Our seafood specialties

Oysters

At Yacht Deauville, you can enjoy the Normandy oysters from Maison Vivier No. 3. This oyster producer, located in Normandy’s Calvados region, offers the finest offerings from the sea. They cultivate their oysters for 3 to 4 years, ensuring that you experience special, meaty, and briny oysters with a nutty finish at Yacht Deauville. Several times a year, the oysters are harvested from the sea, sorted by size in this family-run business, and then returned to the oyster beds. More than just a producer, Maison Vivier is a dedicated oyster farmer. It’s worth noting that the oysters are refined in open waters for 3 to 4 months before making their way to the tables of Yacht Deauville.

Mussels and chips

A traditional culinary specialty, our mussels are prepared in a classic white wine sauce made with butter, finely chopped shallots and chopped parsley. At Yacht Deauville, the mussels are served, as tradition dictates, with a generous portion of chips! This also applies to our mussels served with cream or Camembert. Naturally, the serving of mussels (whether in cream, white wine sauce, or Camembert) at Yacht Deauville respects the seasonal availability of this delightful shellfish.
